Care & Warranty

Walpix panels are built for Australia’s tough climate and come with a 5-year structural warranty from the date of purchase, provided they are cared for and maintained correctly. This covers any issues with the structural integrity or workmanship of the panel. Custom-made projects may have different warranty conditions, which will be confirmed during your design consultation.

Our panels use durable aluminium or stainless steel with premium powder-coat finishes designed to reduce corrosion, fading, and general wear. In most exterior applications, aluminium with a powder-coat finish is the most recommended option thanks to its excellent longevity and minimal maintenance needs.

Caring for Your Walpix Panel

Regular cleaning keeps your panel looking great and helps protect your warranty.
To maintain your screen:

- Clean using warm water, mild detergent, and a soft cloth or sponge.
- Rinse thoroughly with fresh water to remove salt, dust, and pollutants.
- For stubborn marks, use Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) or methylated spirits only.
- Keep the panel free from ponding water, soil, mulch, and garden debris.
- In coastal or poolside (chlorinated) areas, clean more frequently as these environments accelerate corrosion.

Typical cleaning schedule

Urban/low corrosion areas: every 12 months
Coastal/light industrial: every 6 months
Marine, industrial, or tropical zones: every 3 months
